does anyone have any good idea on air trek designs of air gear?
It'll revolutionize the world. and u will all have air treks some day! just imagine.

this is a little thing im doing with my bros. we'd be so happy with all the ideas.

And remember,... there are no dumb ideas.
only post ideas on notes and put the subject as AT idea.

there's already some people that have made their own air treks, but they're all over sized, pretty weak, and ridiculously expensive.

here's one of the forums were people talk about it, non are really reliable though, you really have to design your own.

i made a pair with a friend. all together they cost about $875. worked pretty well, on a flat surface. couldn't go to fast, or go at a certain incline. problem was there was very little torque.

all in all, they were pretty cool, but not really worth the time and money.

yeah even if we had the technology for them, they wouldnt be that great. half of the things they do in the anime are either physically impossible or just impractical ^_^

that is true, and the farthest we've gone was my shitty research. and the best AT's we saw were cosplay.

and this wouldn't be the first fan-imitation. some otakus in the 80's invented sky surfing just to imitate the silver sufer

yeah, the ones we made looked ridiculous. we had to put the motors on one side of the skates, take out the middle 2 wheels, and put small fuel tanks on the other side of the skates. looked like we were trying to make rocket boots. ^_^

not to mention they were really loud. they didnt even sound cool. they sounded like a nasally kid crying.

...rocket bike... O_O
